Founded in the bazaars of Kabul, Khalaj Amani Carpets carries a legacy of Afghan weaving that spans three generations. What began as a family workshop has grown into one of Afghanistan's most respected carpet houses — yet every piece we offer is still made by hand, still dyed with nature, still knotted by artisans whose names we know.

A Family Timeline

1972

The Amani family opens its first weaving workshop in Kabul.

1990s

Khalaj Amani establishes itself among the leading carpet houses of the Maiwand bazaar.

2010s

Abdul Basir Amani takes leadership, expanding the showroom at Chaman Huzori and championing natural dyes.
